Global Hospitality Executive Keith Barr to Receive 2024 Cornell Hospitality Icon Award

China back on top: Sydney Airport reports ‘one of the strongest China recoveries of any international airport’

New South Wales’ international visitor numbers are approaching pre-pandemic levels, according to December figures from Sydney Airport. The airport’s T1 international terminal welcomed 1.5 million passengers during the last month of 2023 – a 29.4% increase on the same month in 2022, and a 93.3% recovery rate on December 2019. China was the number one international source market for Sydney Airport, followed by New Zealand, United States, United Kingdom and South Korea.
