GBTA Convention: Business travel set to fully recover by 2024, two years early

The global business travel market is now expected to reach 2019’s pre-pandemic levels by 2024, two years earlier than expected, following a year of significant gains over the last 12 months. Revealed by the Global Business Travel Association (GBTA) at the 2023 GBTA Convention in Dallas this week (Aug 15), global business travel spending rose 47% to US$1.03 trillion in 2022, with strong gains continuing and 32% growth expected in 2023.
